Honorary Fellowship

The Highest Honor that WPPA can offer for selfless, uncompromising dedication to the achievement of contributions, which eminently advances the image of professional photography, is the Honorary Fellowship.

This is awarded to an individual, not necessarily active in professional practice, but who has contributed greatly to photographers and photography for many years and countless hours through volunteering in the WPPA association and mentoring WPPA members.

He or she may or may not be a member of PPA or WPPA.

This award is rarely given.

This award is given for special recognition –The nomination is usually made by a WPPA Board Member or Current WPPA President.  The WPPA President will meet with the Fellowship Chair to assist with final decisions. 

This award is reviewed and given by the Fellowship Chair.

The Honorary Fellowship recipient is awarded a red and purple ribbon. The recipient will then transfer their Full or Associate Fellow medallion over to this ribbon.
